Change Case Blank Title 68510

Thanks that would be great! I have never done a customization before so
please do assume anything. How about the Parts description field on the
part entry form.

Thanks for all of your help!

I would do a screen Customization (BPM not available 8.00.812)
In the layout event of the control set the CharacterCasing property
to CharacterCasing.Upper

If these are custom fields added to your form, the event wizard can
create the event handler for you. If they are base form controls, you
will need to add a bit more code. If you had a form and control in
mind I could give a sample.

Bernie.

We are in the process of setting up a training database for our
migration to Version 8,our IT Department has asked if Vantage 8.00.812
can be run with .NET 2.0. It ships with .NET 1.1. The system recovery
software we are using requires .NET 2.0. Any help you can offer will
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

If we want specific fields to always be in upper case is there a way to
do this? Can it be done with a screen modification and or a BPM?

Thanks!

Dale

Kathy,

Are you worried about a compatibility issue with .NET 2.0 and .NET 1.1?
They will run fine together. We are running .NET 1.1, .NET 2.0 and .NET
3.0 on our machines.

The .Net versions are independent of each other. Software written for
a particular version only uses that version. Installing another
version doesn't change a previous one. They can all co-exist with
each other.
