As far as I know no you cant. You have to do it this way. At least
that is what epicor told me.

Rather than modifying the ini and vtg files can't you just create a Vantage icon
with the 'old style-like in the Novell days' long Vantage command path?

To all Citrix Guru's and/or Gods I ask a humble Question.

We are running vantage on a typical LAN. We have a citrix server
that is used to access company programs from the internet only. We
are not using citrix locally with thin clients. Anyway, when we were
on version 4.0 applying vantage to citrix then creating an ica file
was a breeze.

However, as some may know. Installing 5.1 a little more cumbersome.
I have corrected citrixvantage.ini and citrixvantage.vtg file have
done the local install of progress on the citrix server. Believe i
have done everything else. Creating Vantage as a published app.
created ica file and vola when i click in it it logs me into the
citrix server but when it tries to load vantage it says the
application could not be started.

the working directory is pointing to the main database. I have
followed all instructions supplied by epicor.

If anyone has the slighest tip i would be more then happy to hear it

Thanx
