Client Printing Hanging Issue

Hi all,

We’re having issues printing from the DocStar web portal. On most machines when we print a document it opens the Epicor ECM Client on the taskbar and flashes, unfocused. If you click it in a few seconds, it prints. If you click it in 10 seconds or longer it hangs for a long period of time (almost exponentially the longer you wait) and resolves if you’re lucky, or hangs indefinitely.

Unfortunately, I’ve become the living embodiment of the phrase “It works on my machine” so we have at least one machine that behaves as expected - when I click print the Epicor ECM Client gains focus and it prints immediately.

We have reached out to support but haven’t gotten very close to a resolution. Has anyone encountered this issue?
