Client Set Up Problems

I had similar problems. I had to go to UNISTALL PROGRAMS and make sure
every bit of progress and Vantage was gone. Then the reinstall worked ok.
If that doesnt work, get a copy of CLEAN SWEEP. Its a very good unistall
program that will clean out everybit. I also discovered that it helped in
cleaning out TMP files. I've had machines with THOUSANDS of TMP files that
never deleted themselves.

Hi Everyone,

I'm having a problem doing a Progress Client Set-up on a new system.
(Vantage 3.0 Progress 8.3). One of our older computers locked up
yesterday. I wound up uninstalling progress and it wouldn't let me
reinstall. Windows locked up when it was copying the dlls and ocxs. I
ran a Defrag on the system and then ran clientsetup with no problems.
When I went to run client set up on my new system, I came across the
same problem. Windows locked up the system when the dlls and ocxs were
being copied.

Any suggestions would be appreciated ?

Thanks
