CMI Assembly/Material Issued to Job

Our BOM Loading team has just raised an issue which has me stumped. We have a Make to Stock Job that has a CMI part on it as an Assembly which we have in stock and for this job we want to issue it from stock.

When they try and issue the Assembly from stock they get an error stating from bin cannot be Customer Managed.

On the previous job for this top level part, the part was just a material instead of an assembly and was also Customer Managed. As a material we can issue it from Customer Managed stock without error.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Could you transfer the material from the CMI bin to another bin first?

Another option of CMI is not to use it, either bring it in on a PO or use an RMA that you disposition to stock.
