Configuration for FusionIO cards

This is installed directly on the server, and will be running Epicor 9/10 and SQL server on the same box, Epicor will get its own card, and SQL server will get its own card, with mirroring happening to the opposite card for each partition.

Does anyone have experience, or guidance setting up block size and offsets for the best SQL performance with dual FusionIO cards?  We keep getting sent back and forth between Dell, FusionIO and Epicor as to the best practices for Epicor 9/10 setups, and I was wondering if anyone had any real experience with it.

Is this for VMware or installed directly on the server?
