Subject: [Vantage] Configurator question

We are on Vantage 8.03.408a progress.

Were does Vantage get the information on which configurator created a part?

For example, if I have a configurator called X and it creates a part called Y, I can reconfigure Y and Vantage will use configurator X. How does it know that part Y was created by configurator X? What if I later wanted to change the configurator and call it Z. How do I now get Vantage to use Z to reconfigure Y?
