Hi after a bit of help please…
want a part to be set up to a no-input configurator, but sometimes I want to use a product configurator against it. The configurator is greyed out in part, so I cannot easily switch between the two. Is it meant to be greyed out or is this an error?

A no inputs configurator is just that no-inputs, you can’t switch back and forth. WIth that said you should have a configure button to press which triggers the no-inputs process. Typically when the button is greyed out the part and/or the configurator is not approved. If the configurator doesn’t have the sync checked you have to approve the configurator and part number separately. I recommend you make sure this is checked on the configurator entry screen
If you do want to be able to “switch” back and forth you can use revisions to handle this. One revision will have the no-inputs on it and the other revision will have an interactive configurator on it. Other option is two different part numbers.
