Does anyone make jobs with Capable to Promise?
If so, are you able to control the suggested job qty using Multiple, Min Lot Size, and Max Lot Size?
We are testing out CTP, and while MRP respects the lot sizes we’ve setup, CTP seems to be ignoring them.
Instead, the job’s qty mimics the order qty. (We only make to stock, no make to order.)
For example, if the Max Lot Size is 100…
- then an order comes in requiring 110
- CTP runs on the order line
- CTP will create 1 job for 110 parts, instead of 2 jobs for 100 and 10
I don’t know what other parameters I could change to affect the lot size, hoping one of you wonderful people has some insight!
