Conversion tool problems

I haven't seen the screenshot yet but yes/no fields should be either 0
(zero) for no or -1 (negative 1) for yes. Might check your original
data. Still doesn't make sense why it would crash your source database.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried to import just the partopr table. It was going and then I got
an "insufficient disk space or write protection" error. I uploaded the
screenshot5.zip file to the group web site. It seems it is trying to
import into a yes/no field a 1.00000000000 or a 0.000000000000.

This is frustrating ...

I have imported all my tables without using any logic. I go straight
from the query to the mapping to the convert. Since you're crashing the
source database I would check into the connection and the query. Do you
get any results on the query tab? Are you getting any errors during the
conversion?

I would convert one table at a time and then check the errorlog.txt file
in the convtool directory. It is cryptic but may give you an idea where
to look.

Ok. I have the tool. I'm trying to import the 7 tables for part
definition (part, partwhse, partplant, plantwhse, partrev, partmtl,
partopr). I can see the data in the query. I don't have any logic
written. I have the tables mapped to an access database.

When I try to import the data, it crashes and destroys the test
database. That's ok. I just restore the database from last night's
backup.

But what am I doing wrong? Is the data incompatible and needs logic to
clean it up?

Please help!!

Thanks.
