Convert Paydates to a date in Invchead table

Hi,
Accounting is asking me what date the number means. I found “InvcHead.Paydates is a number stored in a character field. Is not an actual date. To convert it to a date add 01/01/1899 + 1 day.” but I believe the date the number is based on has changed in Epicor 10. Does anyone know what it is?

It is the number of Days from Jan 1, 1999.
So “5578” would be 1999.01.01 plus 5578 days is 2014.04.10 (April 10, 2014).
