Has anyone been able to use this option in Kinetic? Mine has always been grayed out, so I assumed it was a feature they were still working on. Now I’m starting to wonder if maybe there is a setting I’m missing somewhere that will enable this feature.
It appears you need to be in the “Kinetic Browser” to both Activate the feature and use it. After activating it in Browser I went back to the Smart Client to use it. It was no longer greyed out, however when I open it and tried to type/paste in SQL nothing happened.
I believe it was working in the client as well as the browser. It typically works for simple queries but I found doing anything with CTEs or Unions I found those to fail almost always.
I’ve never run into the issue you’re experiencing though where pasting/typing doesn’t work.
