Correct Way to Calculate Payroll Hours

payroll hrs are not calculating correctly,
If any employee work on Sunday than their hrs. count as Regular instead of OT , how to set up day in epicor that should calculate correctly labor hrs ?
how is overtime handled or not handled in Time and Expense Entry?
Is there any way in epicor that i can make change start day and end day so it does not affect with ot hrs

Take a look at Employee Maintenance, and the Production Info tab. Look under Shift, and then make sure your shifts are defined properly. You can setup a shift (say 630am to 300pm), then turn on a differential rate to apply overtime.

how to turn on differential rate?
and problem is in time and expense entry if employee clock in sunday than it calculate as regular so i want to set in epicor start day monday instead of sunday so mon to sunday 40 hrs calculate as regular and more than 40 hrs calculate as ot hrs , is there any way to set up in epicor?

If you are using the Epicor Payroll module you set the limit for OT here.

we do not have payroll in Epicor, all we have is same sort of calendar to setup the clock-in and clock-out using the Data Collection portal in Epicor
is there any way that i can change start day in epicor?

In Time and Expense Entry, we are having issues when running reports for labor clock-in and outs in Time and Expense entry, when it comes to Sunday it stays as regular time instead of over time. Since it is out actual last day or day number 7 for us, it should be treated as overtime and not regular time if employees have over 40 hours from Monday to Saturday…

Is there a place where first day of the week is defined? If it is Sunday, can we change it to Monday?

This is a difficult question. I haven’t found a good solution. This old post suggests it could be possible: Work Week Adjustment - Epicor ERP 10 - Epicor User Help Forum
