Cost Roll UP

Hello,

I have a part with a revision in 2 sites : CL01 and UL01.

A new Method of Manufacturing was created for another site GL01.

I tried to roll up the part for this site. I searched, selected the part and clicked processe to load the cost details but nothing appeared when I look for the part information under Manufactured Parts search.

The BOM is Ok in the 3 Sites. The MOM is also Ok in the 3 sites.

My questions is:
Do we need to roll up when a new MOM/Revision is created for a part, or we don’t?

Is the part marked as manufactured in the site you are searching?

Check Part>Site tab in part maintenance.

Also you can look at the log to see what happened.

Do you see the log?

You can get it by going to Server File Download if I am not mistaken since you are hosted.

Short answer is yes, you need to do a roll up when you have a new Method.

Also consider the fact that each site can have 1 cost ID or each site can have a specific cost ID

I feel like they must know about the site id thing because they said they got it to roll up and post to that site but not sure. Was hoping we would get more detail from the original poster.

Let me know when you are back because there are logs that tell you why something didn’t load or something didn’t roll.

I think that the issue is the Cost ID.
Each site have a specific Cost ID as @arrobatony mentioned.
Working on fixing this.

Each site needs to have a different ID if you want it to have a different cost.
