I’ve updated both LIVE and PILOT multiple times. Does anyone know why this error happens? How to fix it?

Try clearing the cache. If that doesn’t work, try reinstall. If that doesn’t work, see if it happens on another computer. If it does then its a support case.

Thanks. I’m simply trying to launch DMT w basic auth. Is cache at play? If so, how do it clear it?

Curious, do folks typically exclude Epicor client dir (or exes) from AV real-time scans?

The cache is in C:\ProgramData\Epicor, delete all subfolders except the edge agent folder. Also check C:\ProgramData\Epicor Software (sometimes) and AppData\Local or LocalLow. You need to launch the regular client after an update before you try to launch DMT. Yes there is a KB article that lists every directory you need to exclude from AV. There are several.
