How do you set an operation resources and resource groups? A screenshot would be super helpful! I’ve got a sub assembly ‘TrussCover’ with Op10 ‘FOCOVFLR’ that I need to assign a resource group ‘FGCOVFLR’… My trial and error has errored out. Seems simple enough… Thanks for any help!
I’m stuck… Anyone using CPQ to create operations and assign a resource group? We’re trying to get the labor and burden estimate on to the price sheet as well, so we can update the total price accurately.

Wow sorry so late on responding on this.
We let the Operation determine the resource group and therefor resources.
For costing purposes, we bring the rate back with the Operations BAQ sync. I did run into an issue where our Operations guy sometimes links an Operation directly with a Resource instead of a resource group. I did some fun formula column in my Operations BAQ Sync to show either Resource Group rate or resource rate depending on which is attached.
Thanks, Tory. We’ve got operations that have many resources attached to the Resource Group, and Epicor (therefore CPQ) brings all of the resources in.
It’s been accepted as a bug, and work around is to create the Operation with specified resource group and resource within Epicor, then use CPQ to modify it (or delete if the op’s not needed).
I should see if I can delete the extra resources - haven’t tried that yet.
