Crash on Quote or Order Entry - What does the error message mean?

Hi guys,

One of our users had a crash when he went to open quote entry, and again when he tried order entry (not sure if from menu, favorite, or recents link). It worked after an Epicor restart, but I’m curious what the error message means, and root cause of the crash?

I’m learning as much as possible about trouble shooting, since random things happen all the time.

Thanks!

Here’s the message he received:

Invoke or BeginInvoke cannot be called on a control until the window handle has been created.

Hi, i m not technical enough to know what the error means, however a good pace to start when screens don’t load for some users is to delete the personalisation’s for that user/men item.
