Creating new label/RDD

Hope you’re well.

I’m currently in the process of creating a bespoke label/SSRS output for the first time and muddling my way through.

So far I’ve created a data definition that contains all the tables and relationships I need with the fields required have been exposed.

I’m just now creating the Report Style and unsure what to select for the Report Service, has anyone tried something similar to this before and know what I could add here please? Really appreciate the help, thanks!

I thought after creating the report style that I’d be able to go to the overflow menu and select ‘Create SSRS report’ but running into errors because of what I’ve selected in the Report Service I think.

Leave the report service blank, you don’t fill that in for custom reports.

Do I need to build the .rdl from scratch? Just wondering if there is a way to generate one based of the data definition I’ve created.

You should be able to click create ssrs report when you are on the report style detail if you have filled it out properly.

Thanks Alisa, I’m setting my style as I usually would with custom reports, but it’s still not allowing me to create the SSRS report, does anything look off please?

Go to the style detail.

I created a blank .rdl to see if the Status would change and it did, to RDLs-OK but still doesn’t allow me to create.

I select this

And receive this error
