CRM Module - is it worth it?

Awesome! Whats RingCentral offer that made you guys go to that?

We wanted to employ transcription and AI scoring in the sales process for coaching and evaluating all aspects. The AI solutions we found were not compatible with our on-prem Mitel. RC offers the meeting/phone/texting (and email) all in one platform along with their own AI too…

This is super cool Andris has it provided the value y’all were looking for?

Yes to Hubspot CRM. As for Ring Central, we’re not live yet. Our automatic call distribution setup is a monster, with tons of different scenarios (and 2 campuses 800 miles apart).

Can I take a minute and say how much I appreciate how awesome this community is? Thank you guys.

I’m giving a presentation to our Sales team next week to assuage a lot of their concerns regarding the transition from our current CRM to Epicor’s, as there’s been a lot of worry that they won’t be able to complete their daily tasks as easily with it since it’s a whole new platform for us.

However, with all of the engagement and answers here I’m feeling much more prepared. Thanks for sharing your experiences, tips, and insights on how it works out of the box and how to make it better. I think the general attitude is really going to change after showing them now.

Y’all rock and I learn so much here! :love_you_gesture:

Glad you are feeling more comfortable explaining it. I would have to read through to see if this was mentioned already, but if you are on kinetic you can make custom screens for them that work well on mobile, etc. Making it easier to navigate, focus on only stuff they need, etc.

Me too!

Yeah, I’m excited to see what customizations we can come up with down the road. Being on Kinetic in general has been a breath of fresh air compared to our old ERP. It’s age is definitely starting to show and being on a modern platform (despite the wonkiness that is Kinetic sometimes) has been a relatively pleasant experience.

One of the big discussion points over the next few months will be customizations to make the user experience easier on the Sales side. I’m trying to get them involved as much as I can and to start thinking about it.

That way, I can add it to my list of customization ideas that’s about as long as Santa’s Christmas list. :santa:

A whole dumpster fire could be started on this subject regarding how people prioritize customizations, allow customizations, etc.

Likewise!

I’ve already started working with the higher ups to plan out coming out for my first one. I’m very excited to meet all of you and see what it’s all about. Seems like a fantastic experience all around.

There is already a mobile app for CRM https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details%3Fid%3Dcom.epicor.EpicorMobileCRM%26hl%3Den%26referrer%3Dutm_source%253Dgoogle%2526utm_medium%253Dorganic%2526utm_term%253Depicor%2Bcrm%2Bmobile%2Bapp%2Bplaystore%26pcampaignid%3DAPPU_1_EUT0Zs3IKvys4-EPp6mDmAg&ved=2ahUKEwiNlZydy96IAxV81jgGHafUAIMQ5YQBegQIBxAC&usg=AOvVaw0fA45J6eCnzkljX0y03LJ0

Yeah, not sure if they are actually continuing development on that or not, do you know?

*****Dumpster fire starts

Warning here, work with standard first get them familiar with the way Epicor works out of the box before making changes…

It is EXTREMLY important everyone understands the basic functionality. I can’t reiterate this enough, you will pay for the technical debt if you don’t.
