Does anyone know how to change the values in the Sidlabls table when
modifying a crystal report?
I have a field in my SO acknowledgement report that calls a formula that,
if true returns Sidlabls.LBLDATE which is labeled "Date". I would like to
change Sidlabls.LBLDATE to be "ShipDate".
I thought this would be an easy change, but wrong again!

If you really need to get it in Sidlabls, you can set up another language
within Vantage (the whole Sidlabls thing is to accommodate non-English
languages.) In the configuration menu, you can export the English label
definitions, modify, and import them back.

I usually just delete the SIDLABLS formula completely and add my own text heading instead. In a few cases the heading depends on whether or not another field exists, but usually you can modify the formula and then add your text description as part of the formula itself in that case.
