Crystal 8.5 and Java Viewer

In the same section of IE ("view objects"), see if there are any other
objects there related to Crystal or Adobe. Remove them all. When you go to
launch Acrobat Reader, it should install the new viewer automatically
(maybe??). I don't want to break anything for you, of course, so be
cautious.

Troy,

Thanks, the Seagate Viewer works now, but I do not want to use it. The
website is supposed to launch Acrobat and now it launches the Seagate
viewer. Do you know how to uninstall it?

Thanks

To remove the Crystal Viewer objects...

With Internet Explorer open, click Tools / Internet Options.
On the General Tab, in the "Temporary Internet files" section, click the
"Settings" button.
In the settings window, click the "View Objects" button.
Under the heading "Program File" You should see a "Crystal Report Viewer
Control" line.
Select the "Crystal Report Viewer Control", and click the Delete icon.
This
will remove the Java control for Crystal from your browser.

We have had to do this when the Java viewer for Cystal didn't install
correctly. After viewing a Crystal report via the browser, the install
went
more smoothly the second time (usually).

I hope someone has had the same problem and can help me.

I installed Crystal 8.5 and now it appears that it loaded a plug-in to
my
web browsers (IE 6.0 and Mozilla). Does anyone know how to uninstall
the
Seagate Java Viewer without uninstalling all of Crystal?

I created an ODBC report that joins Joboper and JobMatl to the JobAsmb
table. Is it possible to change the SQL statement to show all the
results
from the JopOp's table and then display all the results from the Jobmat
table. This is currently done in the native database reports using the
look
up all of one, then all of the others table linking option. The SQL
statement shown below does not group the results together like it would
normally be displayed on a traveler.

ORDER BY
JobAsmbl1."JobNum" ASC,
JobAsmbl1."BomSequence" ASC,
JobMtl1."MtlSeq" ASC,
JobOper1."OprSeq" ASC
