Thanks for that tip. We're still on Progress 8.3, but possibly 9.x soon.

Troy be advised that Progress 9.x uses a different .dll (pgproxx.dll Crystal
KB article c2008487) then Progres 8.x (IVPro14.dll) so the registry files
will need to be updated for the 9.x db also.

Dan,
I found this for us as well. It is the same problem with Crystal 8.0. I
used the same registry fix that I used in Crystal 8.0 and it worked fine for
Crystal 8.5.

I recently upgrade to Crystal Reports Version 8.5 professional, and
Started
getting a Declare 247 error when creating reports using ODBC and linking
multiple tables. Crystal tech support has a fix that makes the necessary
registry updates depending on the Progress database version and ODBC
version. Crystal provides 60 days of free support from the date of
registration.
