Crystal forms in Spanish

Yes!!
That was the right answer, so simple once you know it. So
simple that
Seagate and Epicor don't know it, and even that we make comments

about not to answer in the onelist just to say thanks, how
else everyone
will know what fixed the problem.

Thanks Stephan,

Eunice Corral

Hi everyone,

Does anybody knows how to make the forms in Crystal to take the
accents for Spanish.
This is only data imported from Vantage, the titles that I
changed directly to the form
are printing correctly. If a vendor in Vantage contains accents
or tilde á or ñ,
is shows fine, Progress reports are correct, the dbf file
created in Vntgwork is fine,
but when it prints to the Crystal form it puts a letter like an
"f" instead of an "í", a "T"
instead of an "é", etc. I already contacted Seagate, and Epicor
and so far nothing.
Of course Seagate says is our software application, I am waiting
in Epicor's answer.

Thank you,

It's probably the same as for french. In the File - Report Option for a
report, unselect the TRANSLATE DOS STRING and TRANSALTE DOS MEMO.

We no longer allow attachments to files. To access/share Report Files,
please go to the following link: http://www.egroups.com/files/vantage/
(Note: If this link does not work for you the first time you try it, go to
www.egroups.com, login and be sure to save your password, choose My Groups,
choose Vantage, then choose Files. If you save the password, the link above
will work the next time you try it.)
I can recreate the problem in Crystal v8. Most of the characters print,
except for the í, á and ó when they appear at the end of a character string.
Unselecting the Translate strings didn't correct the problem. I just
thought that I would send this so you didn't think that you are alone. I've
also submitted a support request to Seagate.

It's probably the same as for french. In the File - Report Option for a
report, unselect the TRANSLATE DOS STRING and TRANSALTE DOS MEMO.
