We created a custom packslip in Crystal 7.0 (Merant 3.5) and have
been running it for sometime from a button on the Packslip VB Form.
We then decided to replace the standard packslip entirely. Using
Report Style Maintenance we added our custom packslip.
The report prints noticeably faster when run from "within" Vantage
than it does when called from the VB Form. The print preview acts
differently also.
How is printing a Crystal report from within Vantage different from
running it externally? Can we make use of this difference from a VB
Form to improve performance?
