Crystal Question - Selecting Parameters

Hello There

I think you are talking about parameter fields.
So, in "Edit Parameter Field," go to "Default Values..." button and
manually add "all" to default values.
Then, close "Set Default Values" dialog, and go to menu "Report" ->
"Select Expert..." and modify your plant criteria to

if ({?Plant} <> "All") then

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal Question - Selecting Parameters

I have a Crystal report created that asks the user what plant they want
the information from but there is no option to do "all Plants".

How do I create an ALL option within the parameters setup?

i.e., Arlington, Eugene, Main, Weed, and ALL (ALL is not part of the
plant table). I've done this before and forgot. Help!

When you are setting up the parameter field, there is an option to
define default values. You could set the parameter field to allow
multiple values, add the plants as default values.

When the user opens/runs the report, they will be asked what plants they
would like to use...they can select a single plant, multiple plants, or
all the plants...

May not be exactly what you were looking for but it may get you started.

Hope this helps,
