Crystal report only showing quotes with parts in part master

I wouldn't be surprised if it was...in Crystal with that field, do a
left out join to the part table - part number....see if that works!

Yea this is the weird thing. If I do a BAQ all the quotes come up no
matter if the part is in the part master or not. However in crystal it
won't show the quotes with manually entered part numbers it only shows
the quotes with a part number in the part master. I don't even have the
a part number field in the report but the only difference between the
quotes showing up and not showing up is whether or not they are in the
part master file. I'm new to crystal reports and I'm not sure if this
makes a difference or not but in the Database expert there is a black
arrow next to the QuoteDtl.PartNum field but it isn't linked to
anything. I don't know if that is the culprit.

I've created a sales funnel report in Crystal reports and everything was working fine until we started entering quotes with parts that are in our part master. In my report I'm not even pulling the part number field but the report isn't showing any quotes that have a typed in part number (not in the part master). Any ideas how to get Crystal to show it?

If I understand correctly, you need to connect to the part master table with
an outer join. If this is from a BAQ you can do that in the phrase builder
in the relationships section.

If you have done this report with ODBC you can double-click the line between
tables in the Database Expert links section and select it there.

This will display all of the quote parts and only the part data from the
part master if it exists.
