Well, if you did an in-place upgrade from 407 to 409 then all of your
custom report styles, report data definitions, etc. were included in the
database conversion. Are they missing or something?
Not sure what you mean by 'transfer over'. The .rpt file should still
be where you left it.
Depending on the report, the underlying data model may have changed
slightly, and you may need to regenerate the report XML file, open the
report in Crystal Reports, and refresh the dataset pointing at the new
XML file, and give CR an opportunity to ask you to map any new/changed
fields. Depending on the amount of change, you may be able to get away
with this, or you may need to recreate your customizations from scratch.
Moving from 405 to 409, I had some customized reports that came over
without any problems, and some that needed complete reworking.

Subject: [Vantage] Crystal Reports customized in 407
I have four reports that were recently modified to use in 407 that I am
hoping I can easily transfer over to 409. I don't know if it is as easy
as a copying the .rpt file or if there are other things involved. Has
anyone attempted something like this?
