Crystal Reports Executables

Does anyone know if Logicity can automate BAQ style reports instead of ODBC?

Mark, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Logicity only was able to
automate ODBC style reports and not BAQ reports (because it needs to
generate the XML). Has that changed in a newer version of Logicity,
perhaps?

Hi

We are on Vantage 8.03.405a and I use Logicity Professional from
www.logicitysuite. com

It enables me to run crystal reports on a schedule and e-mail the output
as a pdf, I currently use this to automatically export a number of
different reports on a weekly basis.

Hope this helps

Is anyone doing this? If so, how? If I do need to create an

Do I need to buy something else with the crystal reports Epicor gives
us? If so, what and how much?

I use Crystal Report XI Server to automate reporting, but it is
expensive. There are a number of other things out there if you do a
search on Google.

Yes you are absolutely right, I only write my reports with ODBC, so did
not consider BAQ reports. Apologies

Oh, no worries! I was just hoping this was a new feature.

I use their free viewer for other clients without Vantage installed for
ODBC reports. Their free viewer is the best out there.
