Crystal Reports: The database connector 'crdb_adoplus.dll' coul

I have seen that if you did not install it for ALL users or if you did not have full admin rights when installing crystal Reports.

Â
The dll should be located in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\bin

Crystal Reports: The database connector 'crdb_adoplus. dll' could not be
loaded

This one is killing me because I figured it out a long, long time ago
and now I cannot recall what I did to resolve this.

I reinstalled XP on my computer.

Then I installed Crystal Reports XI Rel 2 (11.5.0.313) on my PC.

Now when I go back to a previously created report (XML-style, not ODBC)
and try to preview with the generated XML, Crystal Reports immediately
barks at me with the error above.

This is the same CD I used to install it on my laptop and my laptop
works perfect.

In Database Expert, I do NOT have the ADO.NET Data source.... And on my
laptop I *do*.

What am I missing??

Both versions on my laptop and PC are identical.

This is killing me..... any takers? :-)

Thank you in advance!

Ahhh.....

Got it now.

C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\bin

Copied crdb_adoplus.dll and crdb_ado.dll from the "good" laptop to the
"bad" PC and works like a charm.

Odd. But worked.
