We realized that one of the folks here has ocassionally been manually adding customer contact information when he starts a quote and it led to duplicates… Is there any way to merge these so it only shows 1 customer contact?
There isnt an easy way to do it. You can delete the duplicates but if an order or quote is referencing that contact, you have to first change the reference or it won’t let you delete. On orders you can reopen, change the contact, and then close again. But for quotes its much more difficult because you can’t remove a person from a quote without first adding a different person. Also reopening quotes messes with the dates.
