Customer Statements Report Styles

I have an issue I am trying to resolve for the Finance dept.

If they do a monthly Statement run, I have an email break/routing that emails the Customer and copies to a shared folder and that part works well.

However, apparently there are a bunch of Customers who do not want it emailed, they prefer it printed off and posted to them so I have a Report Style to deal with customers who do not have an email address.

The issue I have is that when the report runs, it open a separate Edge pdf tab for each Customer which is messy and time consuming for the Finance dept to open and print each one individually.

Can anyone think of a way I can alter the “No Email Address” Report Style to create a single PDF with multiple pages instead of this? It would need to start a new page for each Customer.

thanks.

We solved a different way. In our APR we check if there is an email present or if a UD is checked “Paper statements”. We then auto print it to a server printer if there’s no email or if they’ve opted for paper statements only. And we break on customer.

Have it break on email address instead of customer. That way blank email addresses would have no breaking and would all be one document. It will still do a new page per customer.

I have been considering potentially using a Break and pushing it to the shared folder and getting them to just open them all from there, which at least would avoid the multiple tabs in Edge.

Incidentally, we have a similar issue with Remittances with regards the multiple Edge tabs.
I should mention we don’t have direct printing from Epicor yet.
