We had similar issues.... Turns out we were calling a part number to a plant, where the plant had not been defined to the part in part entry.

Subject: [Vantage] Customization application error which quits me out of Epricor
I've been working on a customized Drop Down Box. It worked fine last week, and today I'm receiving 2 errors. The first error forces me to press okay while the 2nd error asks if I was to quit the application (which then exits out of Epicor) or asks if I want to continue, which in turns brings up the error message again.
1. Application Error: BOM Drop Down is neither a dataColumn nor a DataRelation for table PartPlant
2. Part Maintenance: Unexpected exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this message and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close intermediately.
BOM Drop Down is neither a dataColumn nor a DataRelation for table PartPlant
I think the issue may come from one of these reasons, but am not sure.
-1. A new account. I had to delete my account I made this customization in for other reasons and had to make a new one
-2. I had layering issues with the Drop Box not always appearing on the screen so after talking with an Epicor agent, he deleted a Personalization layer to make the box appear.
-3. I recently exported the customization to the desktop in order to transfer it from the Test Database to another one. Perhaps I accidentally changed the location of the saved customized drop down box?
