Hi all

Im just wondering i have created a customization for Part Tracker and i want it to be used everywhere do i have to change the menu for all 10+ entries for Part tracker? And also create one for the subprocess?

Please help

Ephraim
I think you just need to change the 10 menu items for part tracker.

Typically anytime part tracker is opened it is opening the menu item,
not the dll directly.

I believe the only time you need to create the subprocess thing is when
a dll is opened directly, like in MES.

But even going trough all part tracker is tedious and there are i think 16 of them
Is there no way i set one and all are affected?

Nope. Each menu item has its own ID, and references a particular DLL
and potentially a customization.

This is by design since you might want to apply different
customizations to different menu items for the same program (sales has
its own, finance another, etc.) It would be nice if you could search
for menu items in the Menu Maintenance program, so you could do bulk
operations, or at least quickly find everything with a given name, etc.

Although all of this menu information is in the Epicor database. So you
can pull the information out.

Very nice info to have if you're doing an upgrade and want to know where
all of the customizations are.

The table is "Menu"

It contains the parent menu item, dll being used, customization being
used, etc.
