Customization on AR Invoice Entry

I ended up creating a row rule which called the function. The problem now is the data isn't saving to the DB. I wrote a customization on AR Invoice Entry to pull data from a BAQ and copy it into a UDF field.

Problem is I can't seem to trigger it on event. I want the customization to trigger when invoice number > 0...essentially when the invoice is created. I tried an AfterAdapterMethod but still can't call it.

Any ideas?
