Dan,
Try changing your filter: "(LaborHed.ClockInDate = 09/27/00 OR
LaborHed.ClockInDate = ?)".
The join will cause EmpBasic records without a matching LaborHed record to
report the ClockInDate as ?, which fails your first filter (ClockInDate >
9/27/00).

Subject: [Vantage] daily attendance Report builder
I am trying to write a report showing daily attendance in report builder.
I
want to include employees who are absent. I joined laborhead to empbasic
using a left join. The left join is being cancelled out by my filter
laborhead clockindate > 09/27/00. Absent active employees are being
excluded. I sure the solution is obvious. Unfortunately the coffee has not
kicked in yet. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
