The easiest way to get a menu item created for a dashboard is when you go to deploy it, select “Add to Favorites”. Then back in the menu enter “developer mode”. Go to the menu tree folder you want to deploy in, then go to your favorites tab. Right click and drag the dashboard item from your favorites to wherever you want in the menu and it will add a menu item. You can do that for anything. Makes short work of moving stuff around.
When you were copying out to Excel before did you have any groupings enabled? Excel handles those the best way it can but it dices up your spreadsheet pretty good.
