Dashboard - Tracker - From / To dates

Hi

I have a dashboard that i am filtering between a ‘to / from’ date on the LaborDtl_PayrollDate. Currently in my BAQ i have added 2 calculated fields on this table field

  • Calculated_To
  • Calculated_From

When i filter between the dates, both Date Editor boxes set to the latest date in the returned dataset

I have also tried to Date Editors on the same LaborDetail_PayrolDate with a GreaterThanOrEqualTo and LessThanOrEqualTo but this changes both Editors to the same date when either editors are updated.

I need the Date Editors to maintain the filtered date upon the data return as its providing ambiguity on the search.

What is the better to set up this tracker to provide this? I can change whatever i need to make it work?

Show us the properties on the tracker. Did you check “Input prompts only”?

Hi

i replace the tracker and checked the ‘Input Prompts Only’ field which now does maintain the filtered dates. however this sort of brings onto the next issue;

When the dashboard loads, it tried to load all of the data without a date filter which takes a very long time to load.

Is there a way to either prevent any data loading when the dashboard loads or set a predefined date of todays days to speed up the load?

Yes just go into the properties of the query in the dashboard editor and uncheck ‘Auto-Refresh on load’
