Dashboard Tracker Panel Docking

More of an annoyance than a problem. For any dashboard where I have a query and a tracker panel, the divider between the two does not always keep the tracker panel at a fixed width. For example I put together this test dashboard:

If I drag the corner of the dashboard to make it smaller this happens:

How do I make sure the size stays fixed so that when the dashboard size is changed the tracker is still the same width like this:

I have found remaking the dashboard 1-3 times can work but I haven’t found a consistent way to get it to work every time. For reference I am creating both panels and then dragging the tracker to the left of the grid panel which leads me to believe there is some docking logic causing this.

I have always found that if you want to edit the format of a dashboard, you need to make the changes in the Dashboard Developer screen, save layouts, then deploy.

Thanks for the response John, but unfortunately saving layouts does not fix this issue.

Something that seems to work consistently is to undock the tracker panel completely so that it was a floating pane and then drag it as far into the top left corner of the dashboard as possible to dock the panel.
