Hello,

Is is possible to dump out of view the items within the data dictionary? I am wanting a list, by table, of each field, data type and description - is this possible? When I look at the data tools of the data dictionary it states it is using 'DBFile' but I cannot access this via a BAQ.

Hit it w/ ODBC or SQL. It’s not BAQ-able. FYI, on the files area of this group there’s also a Data Dictionary in HTML format.

For what it's worth I use Navicat Premium 9.1.8 to connect to the SQL server and view all the tables in the raw. A lot more user friendly than SQL Mgmt studio. I can see all of my tables and their fields at a quick glance. I do caution that because you can update fields on the fly with Navicat it could be dangerous in the wrong hands. I don't use it on our production DB.
