Deadline for moving completely to web based Epicor

Has anyone heard any updates on if we are still due to fully move to the web based version of Epicor next May? Am surprised that they are doing the full migration before the trade show so I was curious if anyone had heard differently.

Still on.

Classic sunset is 2026.1 around June 2026. If you’re on prem you can remain on a previous version for a few more years but if you’re SaaS you need to get going on conversion.

Currently working on converting all crystal reports and migrating dashhboards over. Any tips that they didn’t cover in the last webcast?

As a serious answer, do you have any concerns?

Slightly concerned about making sure all current dashboards and customizations work. Pretty good on reports.

Someone who can resolve errors really should take up residence in the browser client minus edge agent and be stepping through as much as possible while resolving errors. Today’s “edge agent not detected” errors will become breakages next May when the desktop client isn’t available as a failover. If it works without edge agent, it should be as good to go as it can get.

What @kananga said, get looking at the Kinetic versions to see where your specific issues are. A new dashboard uplifting tool is coming (IIRC in 2025.1) so that may help with your dashboard upgrades. Otherwise there is this thread on a dashboard template tool.
