Deadlock victim when clocking in/out

Ever since going live with Epicor 10.2.200.27, we are experiencing an issue when our employees are clocking in and out of their shift. Error “transaction (processID 104) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.”

If the employee tries a few more times, they are able to clock in or out of their shift.

Doesn’t matter if its an MES terminal or the client. Multiple workstations. Brief google search points to SQL but I’m not finding resolution.

@mnewland have you reviewed the Performance Tuning Tech ref? It’s worth a read just at least to tick off the boxes.

There’s some good information with regards to Locking and Blocking and Deadlocks which might help narrow down the issue.
