Default Country when setting up addresses

I did a search on the forums, and there seems to be a reference to a setting in country maintenance for making one a default. However I am not seeing a way to set a country to be the default. There was mention of using Application Studio, I did try that but I think I went too far. I edited the country field and set the field value to the country I wanted. Which for 99% of cases is fine, but we do sell a little in Canada and abroad so those country codes would need to be able to stick. When I opened a company with an address outside the USA it wanted to change the country to USA.

Maybe a BPM on create company or other places will work, but just wondering if there is a more streamlined method to accomplish this?!

I have a group of BPMs where I update fields on the post method directive on GetNew (or GetaNew) to set defaults.

It would just need to be used on the BO you were looking at (Customer, ShipTo, etc…)

OK I am a bit new to the BPMs so I will have to look into this. My programming guy is pretty good with the code side we will have to work with the sales teams to identify the BOs though I can guess at a few.
