E 10.2.500.32 We have customized Start Production Activity for MES for the plant users. The office is now wanting to use Office MES but they do not want the customizations for Start Production Activity the plant is using.
How do we get base mode only when Office MES calls Start Production Activity…and End Activity.
I added the MES calling app in Process Calling Maintenance instead of leaving it blank thinking that would solve the issue.
You are on the right track.
You will first need to go to Menu Maintenance and find the Start Production Activity (PROCESS or Menu) then Duplicate it and in the 2nd version remove the Customization, or remove it from the 1st and leave it on 2nd.
Then using Process Calling Maintenance redirect the MES one to your new ProcessID/Menu.
Only in your scenario you may need to fill in the Calling From.
If you are Multi-Company then NOTE: Process Calling Maintenance is company-specific.
