Disassemble Product into BOM

Hi,

I am using Epicor Kinetic Production module and inquiring if applicable to create a Job Order to Disassemble a Product into its BOM.
Meaning the product will be issued from the warehouse and the BOM components will be received in warehouse.

There are multiple “Ideas” out there for this type of functionality. I think they’ve been merged into the one below:

Ability to Disassemble a Finished Part to Put Materials Back in Inventory - KIN-I-3684

I’ve seen several posts about people attempting to do this by Salvaging Parts… others by sending the Assembly to nonconformance. But I don’t believe there’s an official way, nor have a ever been able to do it successfully. Hopefully someone can chime in with a method that works, hacky as it may be in the current system confines.
