Dispositioned RMA to job with incorrect part number

Hello,
our team dispositioned an RMA to job with the incorrect Part. They Fixed part number on the job but now cannot select the serial number into stock.

any help is appreciated

Can you use Assign Serial number to job to get that new serial number / part number combination in the system?

Hi Nancy,
yes, we are able to assign new serial numbers however when the try to receive the job to inventory the serial numbers that were assigned to the job do not display.

Error " Serial Number xxxxxxxx is not valid for this transaction because: The Serial Number doesn’t have Material Sequence.

I noticed that “Reassign Serial Number to Assembly” was not checked. So I checked it and it allowed me to move them to inventory.
