Why does the DMT login screen have a duplicate ‘auto’ environment? Can we suppress that? What’s the purpose? It happens on all of our environments.

I always thought those were the “auto update” environments you could roll out. Still the same exact environment, just some type of auto update feature.

I think it’s iterating all of the files in your config folder.

Mark - You’re right! In that case, why does Epicor create the Auto sysconfig’s?

The only difference between the sysconfigs is the deploymentType. From recollection if a client uses the auto (from the outset), it only downloads the DLLs from the server as they are required. Makes for a smaller footprint on the client install, but can be slower until a user has used all the screens they need.
That said, the install guide says: “If an Auto* shortcut is displayed, do not select it”, so yes - why does Epicor create them!!
