Can you access custom fields in DocStar?
On docstar we added in some custom fields so that way we could track who the assignee was, who did a certain thing, and we are needing to get a report to see what the assignees are doing per day. So we’re trying to access those particular custom fields.
We’re on ECM 22.2.125 and under the Reports tab it looks like I can access our custom document fields. If I choose the WorkflowDetails report, I can add the DocumentVersion_CustomField dataset to the report and use those fields.
From what I can tell, you cannot create links between tables/datasets but must follow the preestablished links set forth by the database schema. I started a new report and it looks like I have access to every field, but it’s like building a BAQ in Kinetic - without being able to set your own table joins.
