Dual Core processor

I know this is OT but is Windows 2003 Server R2 like a service pack to
Windows 2003 or is it a new version of Window 2003?

I can't see to figure this out.

Thanks,

Yes, it is when you go to more than 4 gigs of RAM that you have to move
up to Enterprise.

I am using a Tyan MB with twin OPTERON 700 dual core processors, running in
32 bit mode. (64 bit is available with 64 bit software). I have this
config running on 2 servers One is Windows 2000 Server SBS and Windows 2003
Server Standard Edition. 4 gigs and 2 gigs memory respectively. I've had
no large issues. Vantage version is 5.00. I was planning for 8.0 then the
money dried up.
