When a user chooses to duplicate a part in part entry the system also duplicates any supplier price list entry for the originating part to the newly created part. This is annoying and undesirable and not obvious to user doing the copying.
If a supplier price list is wanted for the new duplicated part, there is a very good chance the part’s Unit Price is not the same as originating part. The system makes the extra record in VendPart and it is not obvious at all. When purchasing suggestions get made buyers get this unexpected Unit price.
