Vantage only prevents duplicate serial numbers for an individual part. All our serial numbers should be unique, but we have had a few cases where a part is reworked into a new part and assigned the same serial number, so now we have the old part and the new part in the system with the same serial number. Obviously someone didn't follow the poper procedures otherwise the old part would have been scrapted out. Once found, it isn't that hard to fix.
My question is "has anyone written a report or dashboard that shows duplicate serial numbers regardless of the part involved?". I'm not sure the best way to proceed with this and I am looking for some suggestions.
